Fall Session will start Wednesday September 14th!
These classes produce a full length musical three times per
year. The info below is for our Fall Season.

Musical Theater III Production Class










Once On This Island is a Caribbean adaptation of the popular
Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale "The Little Mermaid"
featuring a poignant story and catchy, Caribbean flavored
score. Join the four Gods (god of water, death, love & nature)
as you follow ti'moune on her adventure to save her true love.

  • Participation in this production class requires an
    audition. Information about auditions will be give our at
    our first class.

  • This class is for teens in 8th-12th grades. We do allow
    some alumni who have graduated to participate.

  • The MT III production class is only offered in Pismo
    Beach and will start September 15th with auditions
    taking place after the first class.

  • This class starts Thursday September 15th and meets
    every Thursday from 6:00-8:00. Once we have auditions
    we will also meet every Sunday from 5:00-8:00.

  • Show dates will be in December or January and will be
    announced at auditions.

Musical Theater I & II Production Classes










These three classes will rehearse in their own classes but
combine for tech week and the final performance. They will
also be performing their own version of Once on This Island.

Pismo Classes - Location TBA
Musical Theater 1 - Thursdays 3:30-4:30 - Grades: K-3rd
Musical Theater 2 - Thursdays 4:30-6:00 - Grades 4th-8th

Santa Maria Class - Temple Beth El
Musical Theater 1 - Wednesdays 4:30-6:00 - Grades 3rd - 8th

  • Participation in this class requires an audition however
    every child who auditions will be cast. Auditions will
    happen after the first class.

  • Each class practices during their class time. During
    Tech Week (the week before our show) we will all meet
    at the theater and practice together.

  • The MT 1 & 2 production classes start September 14th.

  • Children cast in lead roles (regardless of which class
    they are in) will need to attend Sunday afternoon
    rehearsals which are held at Five Cities Vineyard in
    Arroyo Grande.

  • Show dates will be in December. Exact date will be
    announced at auditions.

The Spring show will be Guys and Dolls. We already have the
theater booked for May.
Tiny Tunes I
Parent Participation music and dance class for toddlers.
Ages: 1.5-3
Tuesdays 10:00-10:45 am

Tiny Toes - Ballet & Tap
Learn the basics of tap & ballet while using your
imagination and having fun!
Ages 3-5
Tuesdays 11:00-12:00 Ages 3-5

  • All Tiny Tunes and Tiny Toes classes are run through
    the Arroyo Grande Park and Rec.
  • Classes meet weekly and start Tuesday September 6th.
  • Please call Miss Olivia or register with AG Park & Rec
    before attending your first class.

Privates are offered in dance (ballet, tap & jazz),
musical theater and talent show preparation.

Piano Lessons - $75.00 per month
*Piano is taught by Miss Olivia’s husband Jason
Miller and taught in our home in Arroyo Grande next
to Harloe school. For more info on piano call Jason
directly @ 805-709-0289.
  • A $25 per season registration fee is due upon sign
    up for all students. This fee includes your script,
    rehearsal cd and is used for royalties and
    insurance. This is a per session
    (Fall/Spring/Summer) fee. Tiny Tunes and Tiny
    Toes registration fee is only $12 per year.

  • Tuition is due the 1st class of each month.

  • Late fee is $10.00 & will be added to your tuition
    after the 10th of each month.

  • Invoices are only sent out when tuition is late.

  • There are no refunds or pro-rated tuition rates for
    missed classes, however students have six weeks
    following the missed class to take a make up class.

  • There is no extra charge for months where there is
    a 5th class in the month.

  • PBYT closes for Winter Break 2 weeks in
    December/January and 1 week for Spring Break in
    March or April. Full tuition is due for these months.
    Months where there is a 5th class through out the
    year is considered make-ups for these months.

  • (Production Classes Only) Students who are not
    registered prior to auditions will need to pay the
    registration fee and first month of tuition at auditions.

  • Fees do not include performance costs. Please see
    Introduction letter (handed out on the first day of
    class) for more info.
Registration
  • All Production classes are handled through Pismo
    Beach Youth Theater. Please click on the link below
    for a registration form. You can bring this to your
    first class to register.

  • All returning students need to fill out a new
    registration form every September.

  • All Tiny Tunes & Tiny Toes classes are through the
    Arroyo Grande Park & Rec. Please contact them to
    register 805-473-5474. Please feel free to come
    check out your first class before registering.
*Pismo Beach Youth Theater is not a religious theater
group and is not affiliated with any religion. We simply hold
classes and rehearsals in religious settings because we
are lucky enough for these churches and temples to
sponsor our program and give us economical rental
solutions. We also from time to time produce theater
productions that have religious or Christmas themes.
